Appy Monday

Some of my favourite apps that I use for staying healthy is My Fitness Pal, it is a free app that you can use  not only make up your own profile but you can look up and add the food that you eat to get a better grip on your calories in and your calories out. Its very simple to use. In your profile you answer some questions like, how much do you move in your work, how often do you exercise. These answers make a number of calories you should try to hit in a day (I say hit because if you eat less than this to try and speed up the process your bodies metabolism will slow down because there isn't enough fuel, so you will have an even slower progress)


Then you put in your food for the day (we are creatures of habit, we eat the same few things for breakfast, lunch and dinner so try and find out how many calories are in your meals so that you can put in an already made meal and limit the time searching for ingredients every time you make it.


Then you put in your work outs, they have different sent calorie burns for certain activities but id recommend wearing a pulse watch. This will give you an accurate reading of how much you've burned. 


you can see your progress in statistics and you can join communities to get support from others.
